DAYTONA, FLORIDA – After crashing in her NASCAR Nationwide Series debut here just a year ago, Danica Patrick is hoping the second time’s a charm.

Patrick will race in the 300-mile DRIVE4COPD event, held February 19, 2011, one day ahead of the Daytona 500.

In her 2010 NASCAR debut, Patrick exited the Nationwide Series race after a 12-car crash halfway through the event.  She went on to start in twelve more Nationwide Series event in 2010. She has similar plans for 2011, in addition to her packed IZOD Indy Car schedule.

What time does the Nationwide Series race start? The Nationwide Series Daytona race, DRIVE4COPD 300 (120 laps, 300 miles), begins at 1 pm EST on Saturday, February 19, with the Green Flag at 1:15 pm.
